Tesla's Rule
Tips, tricks, and in-car browser links—because the manual doesn't tell you half of it.
Stuff you should know
- Cabin
Use Sentry Mode & Dashcam
Catch door-dingers and hit-and-runs on camera. Your car's already watching—might as well get the receipts.
- Charging
Charging at Home
80% is plenty for daily use. Your battery (and your bill) will thank you. Save 100% for road trips.
- Driving
One-Pedal Driving (Regen)
Lift your foot and the car slows down. You get range back. Brake pedal? Optional. It's not a bug—it's a feature.
- Entertainment
Save Sites in the Tesla Browser
Bookmark the good stuff so you're not pecking URLs on a touchscreen at a red light. We're not animals.
- Charging
Navigate to Superchargers to Precondition
Tell the car where you're charging so it heats the battery on the way. Cold battery = slow charge. You're not waiting 45 minutes by choice.
- Cabin
Phone as Key
Walk up, get in, drive. No fob, no digging for a card. Your phone is the key. Just don't leave it in the car.
Browser links
Sites that actually work in the car's browser. No, not *every* site—we tested these so you don't have to.
